ATD Houston Talent Development Conference
In partnership with ATD Houston, Kahuna is presenting “Skill and Competency Development Programs – Where Do I Start?” a session that will explore how your organization should begin when tasked with implementing skills and competencies within your organization in order to have the best impact on your business.
You have been given the objective of creating and implementing skills and competencies for your company. As a Learning and Development expert, your mind starts racing with questions…
– “Do I develop our own content or do I buy it?”
– “Is there a system that can do this?”
– “Is there a company that I can hire to do this?”
STOP! You have missed some of the major steps you need to follow BEFORE you can move on and answer these questions. Let’s first begin with some questions of the business and a structure that drives engagement, accountability, ownership with the business, and learning and development.
